The wide white "coker" tires maintain the original 50's bias belted look, but are high performance radials. Original chevy wheels and hub caps (non-reproductions) were a hard find. |

The outstanding feature of this show car is the historic look. Originally delivered in crocus yellow on black, Chip Foose designed his own color which has $1,000 of crushed powdered pearl to make a decorative gold/yellow he registered as "Harvest Pearl Yosemite Yellow" on black. The eye catching color combination is topped with a double real canvas top that looks like velvet. |
The triple dip show chrome is from the specialty shop, "Artistic Silver Plating" in Signal Hill. Stainless was removed, peaned, buffed and hand polished. All window frames are the originals with triple show chrome. The glass is all new with a mid-tint to match the original windshield tinted visor area and smokey side glass. The grill and other reproduction stainless are manufactured proudly in the USA by Danchuk Manufacturing of Anaheim. The hood bird is a Danchuk reproduction of show quality |
| The interior is amazing and provided by Danchuk Manufacturing of Anaheim, featuring reproduction exact original color seatts and original clone door/side panels. The dashboard, originally all black, has been 2-stepped in Harvest Pearl Yosemite Yellow and high gloss black. The floors are acoustic sound matted with Foose lining and rayon tight weave stain resistant carpets. New "body by Fisher" door sills and all stainless appointments to match the original vehicle. |
Features not seen in the photos are a 100% genuine leather paneled trunk with a 12" LCD television powered from the JVC CD/DVD player in dash entertainment system with hook-up for X-Box and video games. The floow mats are specially designed with 24k gold threads etched into the state outline of California with a star, which designates the location of Yosemite National Park, for which the paint colors were named. |

The engine, from Blueprint of Kearney Nebraska, is a 383 cid/405hp 440 ft.-lbs 9.5:1 compression ration equipped with the same accessories as the Chevy 355 Vortec – .487"/.508" lift and 234º/244º duration at .050" flat tappet camshaft. Recently the turbo hydro 3 speed was replaced with the popular R-700 turbo transmission by vehicle builder Rob Phillips Hot Rod of Long Beach. Stubby balanced drive shaft big enough to take the tire smokin' low end and overdrive speed of the more than 440 ft.-lbs of provided torque. |

down to a currie - 9TL350S 3.50 gears w/ track lock rear housing.
Extra leafs keep this vehicle squats from pounding the shaft under the floor boards along with rear H/D shocks. Be Cool twin fan o/s aluminum radiator keeps a constant tempature under all driving conditions. Never overheats in parades! |

Originally sold by Community Chevrolet of Burbank in 1955. Chevy Jim is the 2nd owner, purchasing the vehicle in 1960 from the Community Chevrolet used car lot for $750. |
The chevy originally came with 265 cid V8 2-bbl rochester carb and 2-speed powerglide transmission, power brakes, power steering and power top. |
