The experience on Overhaulin' was a complete surprise. Daniel (the "informant" and Chevy Jim's son) conspired with
Chip Foose on the engine, driveline, colors and the retention of the original historic look.

The owner, Chevy Jim (pictured in right photo below) was kept in the dark the week the vehicle was under restoration. Daniel made several trips to the studio-garage to conspire with Chip. Mid-week Overhaulin' TV Host Chris Jacobs came to the home of Chevy Jim. He found the nervous owner of the chevy was about to go out looking for this car, unaware of the restoratiuon being done.

Chris Jacobs, the host of Overhaulin', and Chip Foose treated us like friends.

Rob Phillips was the mechanical genius who put it all together,
and has given me continued support with "Honey Bee" after the show, and has becom a friend.
Rob took the running gears, engine, transmission, drive line out to resolve mechanical problems,
replacing necessary parts and rebuilding the engine in early 2009.

In the 1 year "Honey Bee" was on the show circuit she won 6 tropies in the 7 shows she was entered.
